Your Children’s Bookshelf is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing free children’s books through our donors and Program Partners to families and children; encouraging the love of reading, fostering literacy and education.

Project Overview

YCB uses events and book fairs to distribute books to children. The YCB “Our Books to You” program was developed as an opportunity to continue their mission of providing FREE new and gently used books to disadvantaged families and children. Each Tote is filled with up to 6 age-appropriate books. YCB has provided over 8,151 books to over 1,797 children to date, (April 2021).

Web site provides information on donations and partnerships with community organizations. A special secton for children is called Storytime, an online Podcast reading Children’s Books in English and Spanish. Listen to classic’s like — Dr. Dolittle, Peter Pan and Beatirx Potter books. Also enjoy todays children's books — Lela the Littlest Search Dog, Inglebert Ed and When the Dinosaurs Stayed at Home.
